We are looking forward to a new year which will bring some interesting challenges for the Tattenhams RA:

The name of the association will need to change to reflect the fact that we will be joining with Preston ward and we , will be serving over 4500 households. We need more supporters to help us meet the challenge. If you can help, please get in touch to find out more.

Chief Technology Officer- vacancy

We are facing a number of challenges as an organisation-

  • how do we communicate with residents online?
  • Should we be adopting new ways of collecting subscriptions- online or crowdfunding?
  • How do we best use technology to grow our organisation?
  • How can we recruit more volunteers and members?

If you have experience of using technology to address these kinds of challenges and could help us please contact the chairman: Mrs Rue Stanley email: ruestanley17@gmail.com

Events Management – vacancy

We would like to run more events locally to build community and provide an opportunity for people to get together- if you have experience running events and would like to get involved please contact me. I would be delighted to hear from you. Mrs Rue Stanley email: ruestanley17@gmail.com

Road Stewards Wanted

Our Road Stewards do a great job delivering the newsletter, campaign leaflets and collecting subscriptions. It generally only takes a few hours once a quarter. It’s a great way to meet your neighbours and find out more about what’s happening locally. If you can help, please contact Jill Bray- Cllr.bray@reigate-banstead.gov.uk Tel : 01737 357055

Here are a few of the roads where we could use additional road stewards to help deliver and collect subs:

  • Chapel Way
  • Chapel Grove
  • Merland Rise ( addresses currently in Preston ward)
  • St Leonards Road
  • Beech Grove
  • Homefield Gardens
  • Northview Crescent

About us : The Tattenhams Residents’ Association (TRA) is a non-political organisation and we work closely with all parties to ensure that the interests of our residents are protected and enhanced.

We are non-profit making and rely on: volunteers, membership subscriptions and local business sponsorship to support our activities. We are a friendly bunch of people who have an interest in the local area and making our community a better place to live.

If you would like to find out more about the work of the TRA, or discuss how you could participate. Please get in touch or come to one of our monthly meetings at the Tattenhams Library. We would be delighted to hear from you
